| My wife and I would like to wish all of you a spiritually prosperous New Year. In fact, the "signs of the times" point to a very interesting and prophetic scenario. Consider: 1. The situation in the Mid-east heating up, with Russia moving arms and troops into Syria, Hezbollah and Hamas declaring Israel's demise, along with the rest of the Islamic countries. 2. Iran (Persia - Ez. 37-39) threatening Israel's extinction via nuclear weapons. Israel will no doubt have to attempt a preemtive strike to wipe out their capability. That will be interesting. 3. The economic crash in America and around the world. 4. The Islamic takeover of Europe (where the Antichrist will come from). 5. Never before in human history have the nations been aligned relating to Israel as they are right now. 6. The increase in climatic and (super)natural catastrophic events, e.g., severe weather (what? no global warming?!), earthquakes, mudslides, wildfires, tsunamis, hurricanes, et.al. 7. Universal calls for a one world economy and one world church (Hello, Antichrist!). 8. The world-wide hope for a world leader to bring about "peace on earth" without the Prince of Peace. 9. The totally unstable world we live in with terroristic threats, crazy dictators in Venezeula, Korea, Iran, Russia, etc. 10. The growing threat of Islam world-wide. Etc, etc., etc. Question: Could the battle of Gog & Magog come before the Rapture and Tribulation and set the stage for the coming "peace treaty" with Israel and the Tribulation? ("I'll fly away, O glory!" We'll see you all on the way UP!) Just some things to help you focus on the SOON COMING of our Savior and the Rapture of His church. (If you are a mid-trib, post-trib or pre-wrath rapturist and want to hang around for those horrible days, help yourself. I am out of here!) As you can see from the above the Fedena's are looking UP, not around. We are expecting the Rapture, not the Tribulation. We are listening for sounds, not looking for signs. As my daughter Crystal sang each New Year at Faith Baptist "What if this could be the year when Jesus comes? The year that we've been waiting for so long?" We know it is getting closer with each passing day! |
